The Lagos State Police Command has denied reports in the Peller kidnapping news, assuring the public that the TikTok star is safe.

Speculation about Peller’s safety spread on Thursday after a viral video showed armed men dragging him from a vehicle. The clip, shared on TikTok, Instagram, and X, sparked panic among his followers.

In the footage, Peller asked why a man pointed a gun at him before being pulled out. The livestream ended suddenly, fueling rumors of abduction.

Police spokesman CSP Benjamin Hundeyin dismissed the Peller kidnapping news during a Channels TV broadcast. He stressed that the incident was exaggerated and confirmed Peller’s safety.

“The viral Peller kidnapping news is false. He is safe,” Hundeyin said. “The event was not a kidnapping as claimed online. We urge the public to verify news before spreading panic.”

Hundeyin added that investigators confirmed Peller was home, safe with his car, phones, and belongings. He said findings will determine further steps.

The Lagos Police Command assured the public of transparency and warned against sharing unverified Peller kidnapping news on social media.
