Fabian Adibe, a Nollywood actor best known for his involvement in the iconic TV show Things Fall Apart, has passed away. At the age of 81, the seasoned actor passed away.
In a social media post on Wednesday, journalist and film producer Seun Oloketuyi verified the death. “Things Fall Apart actor, Fabian Adibie, is dead. Died 2:30 am this morning,” Oloketuyi wrote.
Before beginning his playing career in 1987 with the critically praised rendition of Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, the actor and television personality guided Nigeria to its first Commonwealth Art Festival in 1965.
Fabian Adibe costarred with Pete Edochie in the series as Ogbuefi Uzowulu, and he won praise for his composed manner and stirring performances that won over generations of viewers.
