Regina Daniels drug allegations against Ned Nwoko have intensified, sparking public outrage and industry concern.
Regina Daniels admitted to using hard drugs but blamed her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, for orchestrating her addiction. She claimed he manipulated her with substances to control her behavior and image.
In a detailed Instagram post on Sunday, Daniels responded to Nwoko’s accusation that her family introduced her to drugs. She called his statement a distraction from the real issue; domestic violence and imprisonment.
Daniels alleged that Nwoko wanted her “sexier” and more submissive while under the influence. She accused him of collaborating with a doctor to inject her with bipolar medications. According to her, Nwoko only pushed the drug narrative after she decided to leave him.
She wrote, “Ned, how could you lie so openly and without even small remorse? You know my family has absolutely nothing to do with this.”
Daniels continued, “You have always tried to cut them off because of the bond we share, and now you are trying to make them look bad for no reason.”
She admitted, “Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us? The moment we had a fight, you rushed to the public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs,’ because you knew it would make a perfect story for the media.”
Daniels accused Nwoko of isolating her by targeting her support system. “You want to arrest everyone around me so I’ll have no one left. Then, when I’m broken, I’ll be forced to come back to you.”
She added, “You say you want me to go for rehab, but you are the same Ned who always wanted me high because, in your words, I’m ‘sexier’ when I’m high.”
Daniels questioned his motives: “Why don’t you also tell them that all your wives and ex-wives are on drugs? And can you be kind enough to explain to them why that is?”
She accused him of locking her up and ordering injections meant for bipolar patients. “Why don’t you tell them how you take my phones for weeks just because you hate that I talk to my family a lot?”
Daniels emphasized, “You have never seen me act incoherent, stumble, or lose control. Every problem started when I no longer wanted you.”
She also revealed they were never legally married. “I would have filed for divorce if we were,” she said.
Daniels claimed Nwoko possesses a private sex tape of her and vowed to keep fighting publicly. Their conflict reignited in October when a video of Daniels crying and accusing Nwoko of abuse went viral.
On November 3, Daniels accused Nwoko of orchestrating her brothers’ arrests. Actress Mercy Johnson later questioned the legality of Sammy Daniels’ detention and demanded his release.
The Federal Capital Territory police recently disclosed the circumstances surrounding Sammy’s arrest, adding another layer to the ongoing saga.
