During their wedding reception, billionaire Femi Otedola gave advice to Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi. The couple tied the knot in a private Iceland ceremony in August 2025.

Temi and Mr Eazi had already celebrated two earlier weddings. In May, they hosted a Monaco event on Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday. In July, they held a Yoruba traditional wedding at the Otedola family home in Dubai.

Femi Otedola praised Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi in a video from the Iceland reception. He called their marriage “made in heaven” and admired their entrepreneurial drive. He urged Temi to put her marriage first and prioritize her husband.

“You found a great guy from a decent family,” Otedola said. “One thing I’ll advise you to do is  succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. Okay? He’s your husband, he’s your boss. There’s no more dad, don’t call me ooo”

He commended their strong bond. “You are truly in love with each other. Both of you are entrepreneurs, and that matches perfectly. Tosin, you are going places. Your generation hustles harder than we ever did, and it always pays off.”

Femi Otedola also advised Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi to resolve conflicts privately. “When you face problems, keep them between you. Don’t involve outsiders. God will bless your union,” he added.

The billionaire then gave the couple a wedding gift. “I thought about what I should present. This gift from my savings. You go out to the world. You’re both entrepreneurs. Out-think, out-manoeuvre, and out-spend. You’ll be great people. This is my gift for you.” Otedola said.

After the wedding, Temi formally changed her surname from Otedola to Ajibade on social media.

She captioned her photo, “Mr. and Mrs. Ajibade.”

Her public name change sparked renewed debate among Nigerian feminists on whether married women should keep their maiden names or adopt their husband’s surname.
