Afrobeats icon Davido has celebrated selling out 12 cities throughout North America as part of his current 5ive Alive concert tour. Following a triumphant performance at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland, USA, Davido thanked everyone and credited his faith for his accomplishment.
“We did it. We sold out every night and made millions of dollars. If you dream it, it’s possible. With God, everything is possible.. Before he cut the celebratory cake, Davido remarked, “With all the odds against me, we made it happen”
The 5 Alive tour has been a huge success, and Davido is one of the few Nigerian musicians to have played at Scotia Bank Arena in Canada, which has a capacity of 19,000 people.
Afrobeats artist Victony, rapper OdumoduBlvck, and up-and-coming vocalist Moravvey are among the great supporting performers on the tour.
Under the musical leadership of seasoned producer Cobhams Asuquo, Davido’s remarkable stage presence was on display throughout the 5 Alive tour.
Davido will host his yearly AWAY event at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on November 20th, capping out the tour.
