Hulk Hogan, the legendary WWE Hall of Famer, has passed away. At his home in Clearwater, Florida, the legendary wrestler, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and died.

Emergency personnel raced to Hogan’s house Thursday morning after receiving distress calls, according to reports from the US media.

Before the former world champion was wheeled out on a stretcher and taken away in an ambulance, paramedics and police patrol cars were spotted outside the property.

Considered by many to be among the best wrestlers of all time, Hulk Hogan rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s, dominating WWE (then WWF) with memorable bouts and an extravagant persona.

He was seventy-one.

The cause of death has not yet been officially announced by Clearwater Police as of the time of publication.

Fans from all over the world have started paying their respects to the wrestling icon who revolutionized professional wrestling.
