Atalanta have decided to sack Ivan Juric, and the Serie A club are already in advanced talks with Raffaele Palladino to replace him. Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed this update on Sunday.
Romano wrote on X: “Atalanta are in advanced talks with Raffaele Palladino to become the new head coach. Ivan Jurić, on the verge of being sacked.”
The decision to sack Ivan Juric comes shortly after his heated exchange with Ademola lookman during Atalanta’s Champions League clash against Marseille. When Juric substituted Lookman, the Nigerian forward appeared frustrated. Juric pulled him back, and staff members quickly intervened to separate them.
Atalanta’s management viewed the incident as the final straw. Sources close to the club suggest Palladino is the leading candidate to replace Juric, signaling a new chapter for the Serie A side.
