Raji Samad Adetola, popularly known as Mr. Sanku Comedy, has died in a tragic accident. The Nigerian content creator lost his life after a car crash on the Oyo-Ogbomoso expressway in Ibadan early Monday.
Eyewitnesses shared photos and videos of the wrecked vehicle on social media. The car had veered off the road and plunged into a ditch. Mr. Sanku Comedy and a companion were rushed to the hospital after the crash.
Doctors confirmed both of them dead hours later. Fans and colleagues mourned the loss of the skit maker, who gained fame for his unique comedic style and storytelling. He began producing skits in 2021 and quickly built a strong following.
Nollywood actress Funmi Awelewa revealed on Instagram that she had asked a student near Bowen Hospital to check on him. The student reported he was responding to treatment.
Sadly, Mr. Sanku Comedy later died despite prayers for his recovery.
