The latest Champions League results saw Newcastle, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester City record emphatic victories on Tuesday night.

At St. James’ Park, Newcastle cruised past Benfica 3-0 as Harvey Barnes came off the bench to score twice. Anthony Gordon opened the scoring before Barnes sealed the win with two composed finishes.

The victory moved the Magpies to seventh in the Champions League standings, marking back-to-back wins after their earlier defeat to Barcelona.

Benfica wasted several first-half chances, including a strike from Dodi Lukebakio that hit the post, leaving Jose Mourinho’s men still without a point in the competition.

In Germany, Paris Saint-Germain demolished Bayer Leverkusen 7-2. Desire Doue scored a brace, while Ousmane Dembele netted on his return from injury.

Coach Luis Enrique praised his players’ form, saying, “We want to win everything again this season.”Both sides finished the game with ten men, but PSG’s attacking power proved unstoppable.

Meanwhile, Manchester City earned a solid 2-0 win over Villarreal with first-half goals from Erling Haaland and Bernardo Silva. Haaland extended his scoring streak to 12 consecutive games, while City stayed unbeaten in the league phase.

Though Nico Gonzalez suffered an injury, Pep Guardiola’s men controlled the game comfortably. Villarreal’s late efforts were denied by Gianluigi Donnarumma, leaving them winless in Europe with just one point from three games.
