Actress Eniola Badmus has taken issue with a social media influencer who, because of political disagreements, wished someone dead. Badmus shared her disappointment on Instagram and emphasized that it is unacceptable to wish someone else harm or death, regardless of one’s political beliefs.
She emphasized that Nigerians ought to aim higher and seek change via nonviolent channels like communication, honesty, and solidarity.
Badmus stressed the value of upholding humanity and respect in political discourse and urged citizens to choose decency over division. She asserts that Nigerians should not allow hatred to overcome their humanity because they are capable of more.
