A meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2025, with a new location and time. Originally scheduled to take place in Abuja at the party’s national secretariat, the meeting will now begin at 2:00 pm at the Presidential Villa’s Banquet Hall. APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka revealed this in a statement on Wednesday.
“The change of venue from the party’s National Secretariat; 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja to the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja is due to logistical reasons” Morka explained.
With the party expected to support a replacement for former national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, who resigned in June due to health concerns, the timing of this NEC session is crucial.
Due to the leadership void left by his resignation, party sources indicate that Ali Bukar Dalori, the acting chairman, may stay in his position until an official elective convention is held.
Ahead of the 2027 elections, the NEC will also talk about e-registration initiatives and updates from the Constitution Review Committee.
