Egyptian International, Mohamed Salah has won the PFA Men’s Player of the Year title for a record third time. Salah helped Arne Slot’s Liverpool to win the Premier League last season with 29 goals and 18 assists.
Due to his outstanding performance in 2024-2025, the 33-year-old Egypt international became the first player to win Player of the Year three times, dominating the PFA membership’s vote.
His record-tying third Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year honor from earlier in the year is complemented by the PFA crown.
“Of course I wanted to be a football player and I wanted to be famous and provide for my family,” he replied when asked if he had any aspirations to win honors while growing up in Egypt. “But you don’t think about the big stuff when you are still in Egypt”
“When you grow, you start to see things differently and you start to have ambition and you start to the see the bigger picture.” In 2024-2025, Mohamed Salah led the Premier League in goals scored with 29 goals and 18 assists.

William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Declan Rice of Arsenal are also included, as is Milos Kerkez, who joined Anfield from Bournemouth in the summer.
Cole Palmer of Chelsea and Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, were shortlisted for Player of the Year but were not included in the starting lineup.
