The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has acknowledged President Bola Tinubu’s intervention in resolving its dispute with the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN).

The refinery praised the Labour and Employment Ministers, the NSA’s office, and other officials for ending PENGASSAN’s “disruptive actions”.

In a statement on Sunday, the company said, “Dangote Refinery is grateful to President Bola Tinubu for his intervention through his ministers and senior officials, which ended the disruptive actions of PENGASSAN against the refinery. We remain deeply grateful to these officials for their patriotism and national service.”

The refinery also thanked Nigerians for their support and positive feedback during the dispute.

“You gave us hope and strengthened our belief in Nigeria and its people as the backbone of our enterprise. We assure you that we will keep working in your interest and protect it from rent seekers and economic saboteurs”

Dangote Refinery further commended its workers for maintaining uninterrupted operations throughout the crisis.

The company vowed to maintain steady petroleum production and serve the nation faithfully despite distractions from “detractors and saboteurs”.

“Our commitment to the Nigerian nation and our pact with its people remain undiluted, undiminished, and unalterable,” the statement concluded.
