The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth League has declared support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
The declaration came during a Loyalty Walk held on Saturday in Ibadan. The rally drew youths from all 33 local government areas of Oyo State.
Led by the state coordinator, Ayobami Dagilogba, the march turned major streets of Ibadan into a lively scene of solidarity. The youths waved party flags and sang songs of loyalty, reaffirming their confidence in Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Dagilogba described the walk as “a strong message of faith” in the president’s leadership. He said the youths are determined to deliver victory for the APC in 2027.
“This is more than a rally,” he said. “It is a commitment to sustain President Tinubu’s achievements in Oyo and beyond.”
Furthermore, Dagilogba promised that the youth league would continue mobilizing support across the grassroots. According to him, young Nigerians remain “the engine room of progressive politics.”
The event also strengthened unity among party youths. Many described it as a sign of renewed energy within the APC in Oyo State.
President Tinubu, who won the 2023 election under the APC, is expected to seek re-election in 2027. Meanwhile, opposition figures like Atiku Abubakar of the PDP and Peter Obi of the Labour Party are also being considered potential challengers.
