The Ogun State Government has allocated 130 hectares of land for the proposed Ijebu-Ode Inland Dry Port. The land is located along the Epe/Mojoda road in Ijebu-Ode.
The government confirmed the development in a statement posted on its official X account on Friday. The move followed a June 26, 2025, request from the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, to Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Governor Abiodun described the Inland Dry Port as a major boost to industry and trade in Ogun. He added that, alongside the Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport, the project would transform Ogun into a logistics and economic hub.
The Ijebu-Ode Inland Dry Port will also link by rail to the Lekki Deep Sea Port, the Gateway Airport, and the planned Kajola and Moniya Dry Ports. According to the governor, this network will enhance regional competitiveness and create prosperity for both Ogun State and Nigeria.
