Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has announced his engagement. The 34-year-old revealed the news on Instagram while introducing his bride-to-be.
He shared that an introduction ceremony will launch their marriage journey. Alongside the announcement, Falz posted photos of himself, his fiancée, and their bridal party dressed in Northern Guinean attire.
Calling the engagement “one of the best decisions of my life,” Falz expressed joy at the milestone.
Despite the announcement, Falz kept his partner’s identity secret. The rapper had earlier revealed his struggles with relationships. In July 2024, he admitted he had not dated since 2008 and was still unmarried because he had not found someone who “likes me.”
Speaking at the WithChude Live event, the rapper explained that balancing love and entertainment has been difficult. He confessed that avoiding commitment has kept him from heartbreak.
“I’ve never told anyone ‘I love you,’” he said. “I like people, but I’ve never been in love.”
