Muhammadu Buhari, the former president of Nigeria, has passed away.
Mallam Garba Shehu, his former spokeswoman, verified the news on Sunday afternoon. He claims that Buhari passed away at a UK hospital on Sunday.
According to Shehu’s statement, “The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London.
“May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus.”
His death’s circumstances have not yet been made public.
