Interior designer Deborah Moses, also known as Deb’rah Porsche, was murdered in Lagos by her ex-boyfriend months after their breakup. The tragic incident, which occurred late Wednesday night, has sparked outrage among family, neighbors, and rights activists, who are demanding justice.

Police confirmed the case and transferred it from Oko-Oba Division to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti.

According to reports, the suspect disguised himself as a dispatch rider to gain entry into Deborah’s home. After cutting her cooking gas pipe in an attempt to cause an explosion, he allegedly forced his way inside and stabbed her repeatedly until she died.

Relatives revealed Deborah Moses ended the relationship over a year ago but continued to face threats. “He kept saying, ‘If I don’t have you, nobody will,’” a family member said.

Deborah, who had just completed her NYSC program, was building her career before her life was cut short. Neighbors restrained the suspect after the attack and handed him over to police.

Activists and relatives have called for a thorough investigation to ensure justice is served.
