Nigerian musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, and his wife Chioma have moved many with a heartfelt Instagram conversation.
On Thursday, Chioma Adeleke made an emotional return to social media after a hiatus following the untimely death of their son, Ifeanyi, in 2022.
She wrote that Ifeanyi was her “best friend” who went with her into eternity and included a picture of her wedding bracelet with his picture on it.
Chioma wrote,“My best friend walked me into forever, Ify, you’re on my mind every day and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, Mummy”
“Until Infinity” was Davido’s response to Chioma’s message.
Fans and well-wishers have responded to this interaction by expressing support for the pair as they work through their healing process.

Following a drowning mishap at his father’s home on Lagos’ Banana Island, Ifeanyi Adeleke died in October 2022.
Chioma hasn’t been very active on social media since, so her most recent post marks a big comeback.
