Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 winner Imisi has opened up about her struggles with adjusting to the pressures of celebrity life.
Speaking with Goldmyne TV during the launch of BBNaija’s Saga, Imisi admitted that maintaining a flawless public image has been one of her biggest challenges since winning the show.
Despite being naturally beautiful, the reality star confessed that she often feels uncomfortable with the constant need for hair styling, makeup, and manicures to meet public expectations.
“Having to put on makeup each time I step out, maybe for an event like this, really isn’t my thing,” she said.
“I don’t like things on my face, and I even hate hair on my body.”
Imisi added that she is gradually learning to adapt to the demands of fame, even though it doesn’t come naturally to her.
“Honestly, I think I look good without all that,” she continued. “But because of what you’re trying to portray and how people expect you to appear, you’ve got to keep your hair, makeup, and nails done.”
Imisi emerged as the winner of BBNaija Season 10 on October 5, defeating 29 other housemates. She walked away with an N80 million cash prize and a brand-new SUV.
